Id go with google I believe its more broad.
Contrary to everyone else: Both are better for business.
Facebook has around 800 million members worldwide.
Google is a search engine, and the best way to get your content "out there" is by google, so google's own social network is helping you.
Don't get me wrong, Facebook is a search engine, too, but Google is still king of search.
I think Facebook is better for business, because there are many users than google+
and 2nd thing is facebook is more simple and handy than google plus.
both are best social site to get traffic on your website or page. But make sure that you never repeat same things on both or any social network.
According to me, Facebook is better than googleplus in bussiness because the boss of facebook is very rich.

Why not use both?
All the social media platforms are useful depending on the niche. In my experience you get the most exposure by posting to all of them: Facebook, Twitter, Stumble Upon and LinkedIn. Instagram and Pinterest are useful also if you're promoting arts, graphics, photography etc. They all have their benefits so in my eyes why just pick one?

Several people have the right response in that you should use both, or all social accounts. It's not going to be the same for everyone or every topic. Test, study and improve your use of the accounts. You may find that you get better results using one platform, or 5.
In terms of the amount of audience, I'd say that Facebook is way better than Google + If you're using Facebook, surely you'll reach a lot more people as Facebook itself has millions if not billions of people who are always active on a daily basis.
