Whatsapp old version that does not update

Hi,

I used to download OLD version of Whatsapp Successfully using this: https://filehippo.com/mac/download_whatsapp-for-mac/

But now when I download OLD version, it keeps automatically updating it each time. I have turned off automatic updating, but whatsapp updates it self.

Is there still a method to manage to have old version of whatsapp on mac?

When I scroll down on whatsapp and message someone, I don't want it automatically scrolling back up to top when I have sent the message.

So old version doesn't make it auto scroll up and makes it easier to answer old messagses

Depending on the version it may be that you need to update. Normally you can turnoff the update function but it can be the version is not supported anymore meaning the protocol is altered. At that point the version needs to be updated else you cant connect to the network to use it.

I'm not sure what version I have but it's slow and I don't like it, I can't wait for a new better one. Old versions won't work properly anymore so eventually you have to update.
