Thank you to everyone who has suggested stuff in my other threads... that's why I'm posting this one. If you feel like you are repeating yourself, just let me know and I'll take a read back over those other threads.
I haven't decided on anything yet but my VPS hosting renews on 2/15/15 so I want to decide on something by then. I did purchase yearly Shared hosting from NameCheap.com (where I have my domains) but I am thinking about upgrading it to their smallest reseller account and paying for it for a year. ($179~)
Let me explain it this way...
OPTION 1...
Keep my VPS Hosting (with http://knownhost.com) and continue taking in free hosting clients (love helping people out) and keep paying the $39.10 price tag for the VPS (unless I decide to get rid of WHMCS then it would be $34 per month) Plus keep my Shared hosting with NameCheap.com for any free clients and eventually move to this shared hosting and cancel my VPS. Change my forum to IPB and leave it.
OPTION 2...
Move my blog to tumblr (already moved the posts, just gotta point my domain there), cancel my VPS, and keep my yearly Shared hosting for free clients I decide to take on but get rid of it after the first year... or who knows then? This time next year I'll be in my internship and graduating in May of next year so who knows?
This means I would be completely deleting http://helpmecode.club/ (my forum)
OPTION 3...
Keep everything the same as it is right now (option 1) but get rid of the shared hosting with NameCheap and have one account and one payment each month. Keep my forum running XF and leave it.
---------------------
Right now, I'm leaning more towards option 2 but I'm also wanting option 3, so I'm not sure.
I don't want to spend so much money each month though I CAN afford it. I don't have an issue with that. After this year, too, I'll have my career and then definitely money won't be an issue (as I'll be on a teacher's salary and for me that is an AMAZING amount of money compared to what I am used to (min wage $7.25/hr)).
I've been waying out the pros and cons all day today and I just can't seem to decide. I want to keep the vps because-

- My issues with authority and patience. I have NO patience (wish I did) and with my issues with authority, I don't like those stupid rules hosts have sometimes, I like to make my own rules (for the most part).
- Don't have to worry about upgrading due to any constraints. This VPS will last me for freaking ever. LOL I won't ever have to worry about running out of space/bandwidth/etc.
- Can keep my forum and not worry about anything.
