Phew, I got #8, thought I would have been lower on the list but thankfully not, now to just await my prize.

Great job everyone, I enjoyed reading alot of the articles but when I had to vote, well I voted how my heart said to.

I had this huge multi-part article planned. I actually wrote about 70% of the first part. But I couldn't find the time to finish it. Oh well, I'll have to finish them up now and release them a few weeks/months apart, depending on what I'm up to :p

#12, not too bad. I lacked of inspiration for awhile, and I didn't know how well the article I submitted would go over, but I'm glad I didn't do too baddly :p
Congrats to all the other winners too ;)

Hi

The articles section is excellent, and esp giving prizes :)

I noticed Sandman you were a little disappointed with the lack of voting.
Perhaps because there are so many articles to vote for?

Actually, I think interviews are quite different to other kinds of articles - they are easier to read for example and more general. To mix them in terms of prizes may not reward other main articles enough? I feel these non-interview articles are more substantial and can make a greater learning impact, whereas interviews are informative in a general sense about say, x software development.

Perhaps, the articles for prizes could be split into two, one for interviews, and the the other for main articles, the latter category getting the more significant prizes.
If nothing else, it could focus members in terms of encouraging voting?

Maybe this complicates things too much, but only a suggestion

regards
