He got a flat tire for your sins.
How does this jive/not jive with your general forum rules?
are we honestly going to consider this "bashing"?
i think it's a damn good pun. taking action against this would set a tone i do NOT want for my forums.
it's a car forum, right? tell them to grow a thicker skin when they step away from their religious forums.
personally, i find it silly that someone would get offended for "bashing" a fictional character...
it's really the same as if someone "bashed" Luke Skywalker...
He wasn't even bashing, he just merged "Jesus Christ" with "Chrysler".
Science has gone too far.
Holy cows, some people feign offense over the most innocent namedrops.
Tell 'em they'd never made it in the 30-33AD era.
I would also reject the silly complaint.
Ditto, I would just reject it and move on.
LOL - at least someone noticed that is what I did....
I would send the message:
Unnecessary protection of the Saviour.
Jesus is real. Did ya'll check TAZ's recent merry Christmas thread for proof? Oh silent night..
No laughing matter especially considering how stellar examples of Jesus' love in Trump has afforded us all the right to be healthy, WEALTHY, and wise, while feigning the want to protect the omnipotent from cringe worthy verbal gymnastics. As for Chrysler. Why not Jesus Cadillac?? **goes back to bed**
Is 'hijack68' with the homer rock on avatar a legit member or a troll?
Gone with the wind?
Some folks just can't leave politics out of a thread.
OH hush. It's a thread about handling the politics of the absurd... Jesus F'n Christ...
That's not politics... the use of the name is (and the OP question) is a relationship of religion.
I realize politics ARE some peoples religion, but not in the question of this thread.
Actually... FWIW - I was not being as political as much as making commentary on a topic I see as completely absurd with a reply of equal absurdity. The insinuation that I should STFU and leave my silly little politics out of what is clearly meant to be a tongue-in-cheek type of discourse is... Equally absurd.
Anyway... Yeah. I'd have completely rejected/ignored the pompous report of "unnecessary bashing of the savior"... In fact it doesn't seem as if the complaintaint even knows what to be bashed is...
You done right, Joey. I might have banned Hilljack68 for one day with the reason: being too sensitive.
Oh yes, I'm sure that poking the overly-sensitive sleeping bear with the temp-ban stick would have wonderful results.
Well, that might have been a bit harsh and might have pissed him off. He didn't start a fight in the thread or anything, he merely reported a post. He is also a frequent poster. So, just blowing it off was the best course I think.
