    Hi,

Sorry if this thread is in the wrong place.

On my signature I have my website and it shows a small image which I assume should be the favicon.ico, but mine for some reason is showing the no hotlinking image.

I do have a hotlinking script active in the .htaccess file but it still shows the no hotlinking image if I add this domain, any ideas why as I do see some guys and girls with small images in their signatures?

    Thanks

I might have got the wrong end of the stick here but are you referring to the image I've circled?

No idea why it's showing my hotlinking image, and not my favicon.ico (its in my public_html folder).

I'm referring to the circle on your above image.

OK, I just wanted to be sure. Are you running an ad-blocker?

As I said - the image routes through a service. In this instance, Google.

The image is likely cached on their end, meaning it may need to expire first. Also you would likely need to whitelist Google itself before it will show.
