So I'm doing some online shopping, inevitably hoping to save some money on online holiday deals and such. I've found quite a few sweet deals this evening actually. But takng a break from the shopping surf, I browse Facebook and see:

Basically the Honey extension is supposed to scour the internet, automatically applying the best coupon code for your purchase(s) during checkout.

I'm skeptical. But I wonder - Do any of you shop with the Honey extension?
If yes - How has your experience with it been? If no = Why not try it? What are any potential negatives and/or downfalls of using such an extention?

From reading the reviews - it seems the extension has potential to save a bucketload of money when shopping online. I think I'm going to install it to see what the fuss is about...

So how does Honey make their profit? Are they collecting info about where you browse and selling that? Are they getting affiliate kickbacks?
