6.99 is namesilo but would namecheap be better? is namesilo too good to be true?
thx for your time
I moved all my domains (over 80) from Namecheap to Namesilo years ago and don't regret it. Better services, better security options, free privacy registrations, a better user interface and lightning fast domain transfers.
I have all my donain registrations with NameSilo.
Many here use NameSilo for domains. I've never heard a complaint.
All my hosting is with namecheap.
Out of the 2, Namecheap.
Given my own choice, Dynadot. I will try Google Domains soon as well.
Namesilo for sure. I have over 4000 domains with them. Best bulk pricing. And I like their API.
Namecheap fan here.
I've registered my domains exclusively through Namecheap for the past several years and have never encountered any issue with them.
And depending on the actual .TLD - new domain registrations can have an extremely inexpensive pricing. Just picked up a couple .online domains for less than $10 for 5 year registration. Can't beat the pricing...
What does it cost to move from GoDaddy to one of these?
I've used both... and all of them are now on NameSilo.
I've been using Namecheap for the past few years and have been quite happy with my service there.
Main thing I like about NameSilo is that they offer free privacy with your domains. Last time I checked NameCheap charged for it.
One good reason for me to look about it.
NameSilo seems to be a very professional outfit. They have a robust API and everything just works, which is how it should be.
Right now NameSilo is having a promotion:
$6.89 .com registrations
$6.89 .net registrations
$4.99 .org registrations
It doesn't include renewals or transfers unfortunately.
I'm a Namecheap kinda gal.
