Mozilla and Google remove WOT extension from Store

    I used to use it but I haven't for a long time. Being honest I think while such a system is a good idea it too easy (well back then anyway) to fake the reviews.

    Appears the makers of the extension was selling users browsing history using it. So right thing done removing it

    It's definitely too easy to fake the reviews. I remember a previously site I ran getting slammed on that WOT thing... because a bunch of disgruntled members had taken to leaving as many negative reviews as possible after a few fights broke out.

    But yeah, after selling your data, not surprised it got removed from the extension stores.

    Oh, Thank god I do not use this extension.

    Now I will never install any trust extension in my browser.

    I always thought WOT was BS, glad it turns out I was right all along.
