Is having tags enabled on both XenForo and WordPress bad for SEO?

I intend to be moving our Articles to WordPress and also use WP as a home page/portal as well as create landing pages for TV show titles contanining community reviews, articles and links to relevant discussion forums on XF on these pages.

My only concern is this will create two separate tagging systems, one on WordPress and the other on XenForo.

Would it be best to disable content tagging in XenForo in this case? At the moment we're not really using tags to their full potential - i.e. not being curated or managed (except if explicit/inappropriate) when used in forum discussion threads.

Any advice would greatly be appreciated.

To a search engine a tag would almost certainly be seen as just another link, nothing special. It shouldn't cause any problems at all.
