Coyotes love tasty house cats. Watched them chase many a house cats across streets and grab a quick "to go" order when I was on night patrol.

Up here in Canada our bigger problem is foxes. They'll take small dogs too.

And in Australia, I believe it's dingoes:

Seem like he has separation anxiety and distress because his owner left, i would let it go a few more days and see if he hopefully calms down. Good luck!

He's been a good boy since the last time I've posted about it but sadly our time together is coming to an end tomorrow. I'm sure he'll be happy to see his real owner again.

He's so used to it now he gets excited when he sees it and cries if I don't take him hunting. We cleared out the rabbit problem and now we're working on muskrats. He runs around the banks of the pond to prevent them from escaping to their holes while I plink at them. He's even gotten used to the AR. Surprised me too.

I've also gotten him on a somewhat sane schedule. He still whines to be let out some nights but most nights he's sleeping with me through the entire night. Right now he's in my lap. He likes playing L4D on the PC and figured out if he paws at the space bar he causes the character to jump. He cost my team a match the other night because he kept swatting at the screen and jumping up between the keyboard and monitor. Couldn't stay mad at him.

He did get a little pissed at me the other day because I had to take him for his rabies shot. He _hates_ the carrier and has been giving it dirty looks ever since. A cute girl brought her cat in while I was waiting for him and hers was the same color. We're going out on a date next weekend. I'm starting to like being a cat owner.
