    Very nice article. I agree with most of what you have said. There is one comment I have.

    If you are able to design, you could even create your own skin for the forum. Learning a software's CSS is often hard, but it is very rewarding. :)

    Thank you for the above post. Indeed, very useful. Forum is all about Distributing Knowledge and Information and if you have a Forum which provides a lot of Information and Increases Knowledge of the Visitors, your Forum will be Successful.

    The points that you have mentioned are all applicable for this forum as well. This forum is getting enormous popularity because of its unique discussion, zero tolerance on spam and awesome interface. Thanks for sharing this article.

    I used to do this on a FREE host and I managed to get 120 members and 20.000+ posts in one week. Just have trust in your forum & concept.
