Wow! Nice job!
We launched April 1st of this year. Here are our registration stats to date:
It took nearly 1 month to have 100 member for me. Well i had good niche name thats why maybe. windowsphoneboard.com
my 100 members recruited for 1 and half month
Member number 100 joined in week 5.
Member number 500 joined in week 9.
Member number 1000 joined in week 32.
Well when i have created my forum In the first month i can say that we have get more than 500+ registration.
Than after 4 month I deleted the forum beckouse I was in hospital for some mounths
I had a Yahoo group with roughly 60 members, and only 1 in 6 have converted to the forum. I also picked up a couple moderators from other forums and total count is only 13. Been open for about 3 months now. But it's a very tight niche vehicle forum. Not many of these cars around, but their owners are very faithful. I just need to find more of them that are computer users.
My plan will be to print up some business cards at VistaPrint (probably looking just like the avatar I made up) and leave them on windshields when I actually see the cars, which where I live is not often but I will be traveling more over the next year, as my wife has decided to attend VA and IM conferences. While she listens to people talk about their business, I'll be trolling parking lots for Colt Vistas!
6 weeks up and we are only halfway there
I've an offer with $100 AdWords brochure, maybe I'll take them up on their offer. I am hesitant because I am not sure I have enough content to use as bait
I had 100 members within 2 weeks
I have no idea how long it took, because we started in February of last year, and in November, we had 20 members. I put the automatic RSS feeds on and I now have 1900 members.
Around 40 hours.
I've been online for 4 months. I have maybe 9 active members. The rest simply signed up and never posted.
It took me 2 weeks.
My forum started march 28, relunched. We should be back to 100 members by friday, current;y at 80
Just shy of 3 months.
We just passed that milestone this week
Yay for Real!
I have a forum, www.gizmolord.net
i got 100 members in 5 days..
it was lauched on 10th april, 2012 n today it has 259 members...
We have a pet forum for all pet species.
A week short of 3 months, and it's only at 77, including my two accounts, and some bots from before I installed anti-bot for registration a few weeks after the launch. It stopped majority of bots I believe. Now it is extremely slow.
The niche is about pets. It supposes to be a very huge and popular niche.
Three months after launch, and we are still at only 90 registered members. The amount of active ones are pathetically low.
Could anyone with a success story share some tips please?
Any helping hand would be great!
