Have you ever been accused of using a pirated version of something when it a trial version?

    Yeah I just happen to come across this:

    Now I never heard of such a thing taking place (but then anything is possible right?) but I think that's it sad that it happened in the first place.

    Have anything like that happen to you, and if so how did you deal with it? Did you go somewhere else?

    Never had this happen personally. Looks like in that instance it was just a glitch to their system and they got it resolved quickly.

    Nope, never had it happen to me. The more pressing question I have from that thread though, is what did the OP loose $500,000 on?

    Maybe that guy is a developer looking to add a chat system to his site (like pre-sale chat for example).

    Neither have I, as stated in that thread, it was a system glitch, a automated process gone bad, no human accused the OP of piracy. On a side note, that thread is from 2009 and appears to not have happened again.

    Ahh, I see now, I was looking at the join date of Jason. So it appears it did happen in January, thanks for pointing that out. :)
