Congratulations on joining the two wheeled world. I own two motorcycles and ride 365 days a year. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do.

Well, dogging as it's used as a phrase in the UK probably isn't what you were doing (at least I hope not lol) ...

Sounds like it should be said in a Southern accent to me :D

Also.... I love your avatar - Val was fantastic as Doc Holliday and that voice and accent... mmmmmmmm

Hot dogging sounds quite a bit like the accusation of "exhibition" I faced once when causing a "bit" of smoke to erupt from my rear tires...:)

    Very nice bikes.

2016 Yamaha Vmax with tons of add-ons resulting in 250hp at the rear tire on the dyno. Was my father's bike but the bike has been given to me through inheritance. Since the picture has been taken the aluminum side panels and ram intakes have also been replaced with carbon fiber.

The Vmax has a fat rear tire, exhaust, intake work, seat, electric shift which allows full throttle clutch-less shifts, and tethered kill switch. There's also a race slick and different wheel. Estimated quarter mile times are very low 9s without a wheelie bar.

Doesn't sound like harassment to me. Drive/ride so you don't draw attention to yourself and you usually don't have that issue. I've been riding motorcycles since I was 16 and have never even been stopped by an LEO when riding. Of course, I never did any of the "hooligan" style riding either.
It sounds like you and your local LEO's have a history of some type?
What's the speed limit on the road you turned onto?

OK... think I see a few reasons for the "harassment" that you may be suffering

Unless the road you turned onto is a 65-70MPH zoned area, this would definitely draw the attention of LEO's to you

    Screen-Shot-2017-08-21-at-4.02.05-AM.jpg

    As would this

    Screen-Shot-2017-08-21-at-4.11.31-AM.jpg

I noticed (when I could see the speedometer screen) it was still in excess of 50MPH (usually around 53-54MPH) when you entered the 45MPH zone.

Also, a suggestion... work on your approach speed when coming up on a stopped vehicle. You shouldn't have to be hitting the brakes that hard (to the point the front suspension dips) when you know that a vehicle is stopped in front of you.
