Best ways to assess traffic changes to a site over last 5 years.

i checked out a forum I haven't been to in 4 years. I wanted to know if there was any objective way to assess their traffic changes over the last 5 years. Alexa ? Anything better ?

Def Semrush. It's always been known to be quite reliable! however, Serpstat seems to have good reviews as well https://serpstat.com/ and it gives data on everything, including organic and paid traffic.
