I used to paint Dark Angels many years ago.
Then I went broke.
Now I just paint the town red because it’s cheaper.

One thing i noticed is that fantasy seems more mainstream then when i was growing up.
When i was growing up in the 80's and had dragonlance books i heard people say that dragons are lame and i was bullied for liking fantasy. I think now that LOTR,the hobbit,Skyrim,and such made fantasy cool,they would be singing a different tune.
Remember revenge of the nerds? Being a geek/nerd was just like that back then.

the detail of your painting is astounding. I used to play a bit back when and my buddy used to paint the miniatures.. washes for armor and stuff...but I've never seen anything like this... bravo!
