You know all of those are just labels intended to divide the populace, right?
Of course, no.

What you said is the same tactic used by Ron Paul bots, talking as if the populace has one unified interest (conveniently enough, under the Ron Paul's leadership).

In reality, such jargon is absolutely garbage.

People do have differing extreme opinions. The far right greed upon private property while the far left want it abolished. RWNJ's are anti gay and abortion while Progressive supported gay and women's rights. Conservatards are proponent of Laissez-faire while Liberals support Egalitarianism.

All the above are real differences, thus to say they are merely labels is just pure utter rubbish.

You know, they do have this thing called the internet. From what I hear it's fairly popular and widespread and there is a wealth of information out there on it.
Again, you're making no sense at all.
Colbert's farewell episode is also available online which makes your tubbyvision remark plain outright dishonest.

You couldn't accept the fact that you have no idea what you're talking about.
So you have no choice but to dance around the irrelevant.

Let me ask you a real question; you called Jon Stewart extremist, name me just one extremist policy that he supported.

Referring to Truman as a war criminal. Of course, he had to backtrack that and eat crow.
Yup, you just proved the point that he's not an extremist.

Truman being a war criminal is undeniable, no one in the Far Left spectrum will seek apology for saying that. The fact that Stewart bend to the pressure just show you that he's not as idealistic as the Far Left. He's a conformist and that's why he's a Center Left.

Typical RWNJ.
I bet you have no idea what the word Communist is suppose to mean.
In fact, the most famous Communist in the world would be none other than Jesus Christ.
A Communist, but not Lenin's Communist nor Stalin's Communist.

But, no, I'm not a Communist.
I'm a Libertarian.

Not a chance. Funniest thing I've heard all day

http://www.dw.de/us-justice-department-issues-searing-report-on-ferguson-law-enforcement/a-18294293

http://www.rollingstone.com/culture...nstitutional-justice-department-says-20150305

Among the disturbing findings, police carried out "pedestrian checks," in which they stopped people on the street and demanded to see ID; those who did not comply were typically arrested. Moreover, authority figures within the police department encouraged thuggish behavior, such as using stun guns on people who attempted to assert their rights. "Supervisors seem to believe that any level of resistance justifies any level of force," the report says.

I have read some of the report but honestly stopped as I was just disgusted by some things in it. Ferguson is such a tragic example of ignorance within our police department and ignorance within this country and inability to do anything about it due to said ignorance.

It's beyond police 'ignorance' but dwindles down into the concept of police ARROGANCE and abuse of authority.

While everyone was arguing circles around the racial issues ... as if they cared ... I mean - as if they really cared ((yawn.)

As regards Ferguson... Seems the conversation has mostly stopped, with the every-other-day-exception of Shawn Hannity spouting some stupid, off-the-cuff, and totally irrelevant dogma about the "ignorant people chanting 'Hands up - Don't shoot!'" Mr. Hannity is not furthering the conversation. He's blurring the lines of racial divisiveness with what he perceives as witty fodder for bobbleheads. He's watched by millions who lap that **** up by the gallons though. But honestly - he and others of his ilk are doing nothing but tossing wrenches into what surely should be a national debate regarding the abuse of authority and what could be called the slow, visible emergence of America's police state. And yes - Black Americans are more likely to be at the receiving end of that abuse of authority... It's proven fact. Meanwhile - the abuse continues. Most recently in events like this...

...where a Black cop slaughters an unarmed, homeless man in front of helpless eyewitnesses.

Terrible tragedy
100% avoidable.
Cops are lying.
No lunge.
If the cops were scared they could have taken cover.
America needs smarter cops.

"...you respond to that with lethal force," says that cowardly attorney. A screwdriver? Seriously?! This dead young man didn't show any lethal force. And after the cop unloads 5 shots in him - 2 in his back - they have the audacity to continue yelling at the young man, eventually putting him in handcuffs?! Seriously. He's DYING! AND THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS!

It's ironic actually. The same thing happened here in my city last year. A dude suffering with schizophrenia and other mental illness was gunned down by officers who were well aware of his particular situation. Hell. This could happen with my cousin who is also 'off the cuff' at times as he deals with his own mental illness. He's a schizophrenic.

Anyway - this is heart breaking.
Anyone who could defend such action from such cowardly and inept 'officers of the law' is scum of the earth!

While this discussion went on for a good while I think it really serves TAZ no purpose and only brings a negative atmosphere that is better suited for a site that is directed at this sort of issue.

I respect every ones feelings here but I feel it is time to end the discussion and hope and pray that things get better for all sides.
