Anyone know which of any free forum software packages allow addition of custom user/registration fields?

I see that MyBB does, but it's not out of RC yet...

TIA :)

I'd really rather just buy another vB license, but don't have the $$ for a fourth one at the moment :) LOL

Brian, I have had tremendous success with VBs paid subscription. I have an idea for a new forum and I was thinking of getting a free board at first and converting to VB once it starts generating revenue. I have since decided to bite the bullet and get another VB license and implement premium membeships which will offer some extra goodies.

Well...the forum software I use will have that feature in its second version. Problem for you is, it won't be out till end of summer-end of the year

Yah, I'd like to LOL Just don't have the $$ for another license at the moment. I'd prefer to work with nothing but vB LOL

I like VBB but consider the community. My community would actually find VBB a bit complicated, phpbb presents an easier interface.

Hmm, I've never used vBB, but I have used vB. So please tell us how vBB is compliated? :)

(vBB is NOT vBulletin, infact, vBB is another forum software in itself ;))

I've been working with phpBB and other forum software converts and their members most of the time find vB's interface easier.

LOL yes, I have two owned vB licenses and one leased at the moment. I don't have $85 at the moment and the project isn't mine so to speak anyways, so I don't want to put my money into it... I'm also not really sure how busy the site will be, so I don't want to waste any money...

I love VB myself but I believe the question was for free forum software....

You can find tons on http://www.hotscripts.com/

I have tried most of these and nothing really did it for me but there really is some decent script there......
