8/10 - The gold clashes with the cool blues. The bright green "donate" text was distracting. There were no forum descriptions but the forum names were almost self explanatory.

7/10 - the scrolling "latest topic" bar is distracting to me. The forum indicators do not seem to mesh well with the LEGO theme. However, I like the LEGO styled Twitter and RSS feed.

Really it's just the black background, it doesn't seem to go well with the light greys.

Sorry - hate the header - it's ugly and doesn't fit the fixed width. The icons are generic and not designed for your forum as seen via the white halo aka white matte. Perhaps you should have kept the style as it's default and customized the header and icons from that? IDK - but I say 4/10

9/10, That effect for the nav. buttons is great! And although I'm not a fan of pink you did a great job with it. The only thing I didn't like was the ad next to the forum description.

Thanks - I think you're talking about JPiC Forum though...

About your forum: I like it - the header is quite nice IMO - simple - but so are legos :) -- It's one of the nicer phpBB boards. 8/10

Thanks! I've put a lot of time and thought into the layout. It's an awesome script! Anyway - I thought you were talking about JPiC because you said something about not liking pink LOL and the nav menu effects... At anyrate - glad you like the sites!

As for marioracers.forumotion.com -- It needs a lot of work - The look is pretty bland for a gaming type site. He needs a custom header and matching forum icons with a bit of color to liven up the gray, monotonish look of the current style. It's also very new - and if he is to attract potential members he'll need to work a bit on the current style. Looks kinda cookie-cutter phpBB to be honest. So I say - 3/10 -- there's potential because there's a lot of mario fans out there - including me :) --- And if your brother's really serious about the site he might also consider getting his own hosting and domain ;)

You have no header/logo to be seen, and your header/logo is really what identifies your site. At bare minimum - include some <h1> size text with your site name "RealFreeStuffForAll.com" on it! So... Based on that alone - I have to say 1/10

Looking further though - I see you have quite a bit of posts and active participants! That's quite surprising considering the look and layout of the forum. I suppose it's true - people LOVE LOVE LOVE free stuff LOL

So - considering the activity and such - that's worth at least 3 - so I'll say 4/10

Work on the style.
