Feedback Reviews can’t be marked read

I had issues before but was told to use the Mark Forums Read. I’ve tried that multiple times now and while it works for everything else, it seems reviews is stuck. I’ve had one unread even tho I’ve marked it read multiple times. Different devices. Different browsers. Everything on my end is updated. For some reason that one is stuck.

That will only work for forums. For reviews you'll need to use as above posted by doubt That is of course if we are correct in assuming you are using the 'Mark Forums Read' rather than the 'Mark Read' under the review tab.

If not let us know and we'll investigate further.

His method worked.

It’s odd tho that up until a few weeks back the “Mark Forums Read” worked for reviews.

Things that make you go uummm.

Are you sure? None of the addons - Showcase, Reviews, AMS will clear as read if you use the Mark Forums Read. Could it be that there hadn't been any reviews for quite a while? :)

Ironically there was no unread item that I could find. THAT was why it was so frustrating and had me asking.

The first thing I do is look for new posts, then reading the ones that interest me. If there is something in another tab, I go to it and either mark it read or “read” the item, then go and hit mark forums read. Since I actually visit the other tabs and read the items, it should all clear and it had until just a couple of weeks ago.

I think specific mark item as read was removed. But...

then go and hit mark forums read.

This won't work for Showcase, Reviews & AMS as they have their own separate "mark as read" options.

I'm going to assume that you were marking the specific items as read, as per the first part of your explanation - which did work - but is no longer available. Now, you'll have to use the drop down and mark the specific tab as read as per the earlier post with the screenie, which I think you confirmed worked? :)

Not marking as read, just making sure there wasn’t an unread post.
