A gazillion add-ons gone and the only thing I really, really miss is the ability to mark an unread thread as read. I'm sure this will be reinstated after the upgrade. In fact it goes without saying that it will doesn't it... :cautious:

I would expect an expert team of webmasters such as we have here not to be afraid to click the upgrade button.

Should just port to Invision Community and get it over with. I hear that’s what all the cool sites are using.

I can upgrade my site from my phone while on the pooper at work.... ahhhh technology

It wouldn't be right to just hit the button and not make it be nice and spiffy for you guys.

For once I'm ahead of TAZ with something! I upgraded my forum to 2.1 back in June.

Looking forward to the upgrade, thanks for all your efforts!

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Wrong... so wrong

The attitude of every business thats ever went out of business

Every civilization thats ever fallen

so on and so forth...

IAO is the path
Improvise, Adapt and Overcome

“Continuous Improvement”

I like the anticipation of checking the site everyday :)
Glutton for punishment?

I can see it now... oh goodie i cant wait to check to see if they updated....

a click here and a click there and you see the home page....

and nothings changed....

with an optimistic declaration you say ... “i can’t wait to check tomorrow”

Then you put on sloppy lip stick and use your car to slowly go to the end of your driveway to dispose of suspicious looking black trashbags in your waste bin

Yea, I'm with fixer here. Nowhere is this more wrong than in technology.

Records weren't broke, but we got cassettes.
CDs weren't broke, but we got streaming.

Nokia's & Motorolla's weren't broke, but we got flip phones.
Flip phones weren't broke, but we got smart phones.

Black & white TVs weren't broke - but I guarantee you aren't still watching them ;)

The examples are easy & endless. Nobody survives in tech with the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" attitude.

There needs to be a compelling reason to upgrade. Xf2.1 has significant improvements over xf1. And future xf2 upgrades will surely offer even more value. Xf1 is going to pose security risks if security releases indeed stop.
