Always, Habitually, It's documented and recognized by everyone posting in this thread thus far.is he usually brusque with people?
Nope.I don't follow much of his posting over there; from your response in that thread is he usually brusque with people?
Ah, I thought this thread was directed at Brogan in particular since that's how it started, didn't realize others were included.Always, Habitually, It's documented and recognized by everyone posting in this thread thus far.
Exactly - my apologies!I feel like Anton Chigurh might be getting confused between Brogan and Slavik.
Yes, not Slavik. Getting my Limeys mixed up!Ah, I thought this thread was directed at Brogan
Are you saying Slavik isn't snotty and nasty? He's not around nearly as much, but quite possibly every bit as snotty and nasty as Brogan. Same poison, smaller doses.I feel like Anton Chigurh might be getting confused between Brogan and Slavik.
I think you well know, if it's the friend I am thinking of, that the temp ban was not just handed out for the sake of it, but as a culmination of repeated rule breaks. That's how we manage the forum. We have a set of rules, when a rule is broken we issue a warning against that rule, once a number of points are accrued, things like read-only users/temporary/permanent bans happen automatically. To put it in some perspective, a temporary ban wouldn't get issued until your fifth warning (I think).Although... A friend of mine did eat a temp ban from Slavik over there, for daring to mildly question a point of moderation.

Well, hearsay can't be legitimate feedback in any event. I only know what I'm told, wasn't there for the event(s).Unfortunately it makes it very difficult to decipher what may be legitimate feedback
Which you label as snotty?Slavik said:Yet there is no need for the constantly aggressive manner in which you are posting.

It's just as annoying when people criticize a link because they do not pay attention to the link they are looking at. Link clearly shows it is page 2This kind of link is a good example of how annoying it is now thread navigation has been removed from the top of threads on mobile in XF2. I get linked to that page, it looks like the start of a thread because there’s no navigation context near the first post on the page. I don’t realise until the end of the page that I’m on page 2.
