Any idea how I can increase my traffic for my Gaming community? I am struggling to find ways to advertise etc.

Is there a specific game that you have expertise in, and that your site shows? This can be a reason why someone would want to visit your site instead of another.

how old is your site like a month old? id say keep doing what you are doing seems really good so far

You need to have categories for the gaming platforms. Because that way the search engine can filter the content meant for specific platform. All the game threads in one category would be bad for SEO.

I really don't think that matters.

Which platform you are using to promote your gaming community? Because the strategy will be different for each platform.

For Example – If you promote your gaming community on Facebook, then you will have to focus on polls, groups, unique content, offers etc.…

I am on every social platform and use them all to post our articles on.

If I was a gamer, I'd go YouTube, easier to build an audience from my experience and then promote the forum through videos and live streams. Just a thought.

It's good to invest in content, for example, created subforums for a specific game and write some FAQ, Tutorials which well-optimized in SEO might bring you traffic.
