Let Google search do its job. You can speed this up by adding a sitemap (all in one seo and yoast are a few plugins that do this), go to search console and add your site. Add RSS feed, sitemaps, let it sit. You also shouldn't just focus on Google. Bing is another good idea.

What about the relevancy of backlinks. 1 high relevant dofollow backlink from a high DA site is far more better then many links from irrelevant websites.

Everyone thinks their content is better than someone else's. Ask yourself this: what value does your blog offer people on the Internet that isn't already covered by authorities in your niche? One post is not going to make your blog an authority on a subject, and Google considers authority a large part of its ranking.

It takes sustained effort, time and perseverance to do well in Google. If you believe a few posts in a blog is enough, I hate to be the bearer of bad news but you're in for a rude awakening. I suggest you stop focusing on Google and start focusing on your readers, and what you can do to bring them helpful information - and do it often.

If your blog is the one I think it is (your username plus .com), then honestly it's terrible. The English is poor, full of grammatical errors, the content is thin (mostly tables of specs copied from other sources), it has no real first-hand experience with the items being "reviewed", and so on. It offers little value to English speakers, and I wouldn't be surprised if the bounce rate is extremely high.

Also, the backlinks to it are low-value profile links, forum posts, and overall very spammy.

Yes the site mentioned by mysiteguy wouldn't keep my interest for more than a few seconds, apart from the low quality English, the reviews do not give the impression anyone has bought or used the products, but rather made it all up based on stuff found elsewhere.

To be blunt I don't even understand the point of starting a tech review blog, it's a saturated market and the leaders have $$$ and expertise. You would need slick presentation, a unique style or approach, or find a niche within the sector to stand out.

Most of the replies here are correct, including mysiteguy... However, I'll post a video so you understand more about this...

You should watch their other videos. Some of the stories are true. Just sit, and listen. Backlinks can be spammy, and will be "negative SEO" to you, if Google figures you out later. They can take away your traffic if you try to game Google's algorithms. That's why you should always try to make quality, in-depth posts. And not just short updates. Focus on genuine articles that get people to want to read.

There is gold in this video. They talk about what has always worked and always will: focus on the user. Good links others make will come naturally.

Dont forget to check your website stats in google's webmaster tool. Not only it will show you where your website stands on specific keywords but it will also help you identify the errors in your website which are making your website difficult to read by SERPs.

I really hate the new Search Console (Formerly Webmaster Tools), it's a ****ing mess. I have more headaches than the old version which was never broken, really. Ugh. Sometimes I just wish companies stopped making drastic design overhauls, but you're right. In general, anyway.

I agree with you wholeheartedly but we still had option to work in the old version. You can find it on the bottom left side bar.

The guys behind Income School (video embedded above) says that SEMRush and Moz doesn't give good ranking statistics. If it sticks, we're stuck until people speak out loud against Google on social media. Or another startup creates a similar product to google's own services.

This is actually a good time for a new startup to replace google in some areas. :)

There may be more competition on the keywords you are going the SEO for your blog. In this type of cases the best option is Bypass the keywords that means ignore your real keyword and take the relevant long-tail keyword. If your rank of relevant keyword that will definitely help your blog in Google Ranking. This strategy works very good as it put the same on my Website Wikilistia.com and got the better results.
