About Lag

Lag is a Gaming Community Board that offers many features such as Guides, Resources, Support, Guilds/Clans Recruitments and much more. The forums were launched on the 14th day of August after days and days of constant work, and is currently in a Beta state.

GUIDES (WIP/UPCOMING)
The Guides System allows the users to read, write, edit and share any guide. Guides are a condensé of tips, tricks, combinations, advices and much more of any character or anything in any supported game. Users will be able to insert any spell of the champion they're writing about while also suggesting a specific spells leveling-up order, or even suggesting a certain set of items.
Of course, such system is extremely long to make; therefor, it might take a while before the system actually becomes available. There will be "closed beta" states of this system where chosen users will be able to try out the system and give their feedback; this will help us release the system earlier than you could hope for.

SUPPORT AND STREAM/CHANNEL PROMOTION FOR EACH GAME
Each game will have its section, and any game might be added under certain conditions. The majority of the games' sections will allow the users to ask the community to help them with their game (technical or not), recruit new members for a team/look for a team, and even promote their own stream/channel.

CONTESTS AND GIVEAWAYS
Sometimes, when we'll have enough to get some prizes, contests and giveaways will be organized. Giveaways will be about taking randomly a few persons amongst the participants while Contests will require more than a simple post. Of course, we will do our best to organize contests that will be open to the biggest majority of our community.

AMATEUR GAMES PROMOTION
I must admit that i'm proud of this feature. We will allow the users to promote their own amateur games by publishing a thread on which they'll introduce their game, notify us about updates and eventually reply to questions. If a game outstands amongst the others' and the staff team thinks it should be promoted on a higher level, then this game will have its own section.

SHOP SYSTEM
So far, the shop system only serves for forums' user upgrades and tickets purchase. It is planned, in the future, that the shop will grow big enough to propose more interesting and valuable products.

INTERACTIVE COMMUNITY AND FUTURE PLANS
Of course, we will listen to our community everytime in order to improve Lag.one and its features. Concerning the future plans, e-Sports and Tournaments are not to exclude.

Lag has two stellar customized themes made by Wyvh that were based of the Simplicity theme.

Forums have been slightly updated, especially with the performances. Looking on fixing the SSL(https) issue.
EDIT: SSL issue fixed. Not sure if it works on Chrome as it is something else.

You may want to try and reduce your header images...3.3mb is rather large. Run your images thru https://tinypng.com/ for instance you could compress your 1.png header image from 873kb down to 217kb. Also not sure why I'm getting a malicious site warning (URL:Mal) infection thru Avast anti-virus when "viewing page source" on your site.

Thank you for the kind suggestions :) we will be looking into compressing the header images. As for the mal infection in url that's very weird. I will get my hosting support team to investigate this issue to see if they can replicate the error as well and get it resolved of course

Hey there,
Thanks for your suggestion. I just compressed all the header images (including the sections ones) and they're all down to > 500kb. max.

Concerning the malicious warning, I can assure you that there is absolutely nothing malicious on our forums (or host). Kirk will give it a look with the host though. ;)
EDIT: Malicious issue fixed.

I browse a lot by mobile, your site is not optimised for that platform. Pretty disappointed you guys bypassed that. It looks a mess on mobile can't even look at anything without being confused.

Maxximillion, you're absolutely right. With today in age everyone using mobile devices and tablets it should be mobile

We're currently working on getting our built from scratch style responsive. I might even hire to help speed up this process but of course I'll have to get some quotes from designers

Some updates:

We will be working with the UI.X style and customizing it a lot and it will be our default style. At the meantime we will be switching our default style currently to #rekt style by Theme House/Audentio.

Nice design. The only thing I will nit pick at is not being able to see any content unless you are logged in. Which is totally up to you btw. For me personally I don't like to visit sites that do that. Yet I understand why you do that. Does this stop google from crawling as much?

No problem. I didn't know if it was done intentionally or not. I lurk around forums before signing up. That would stop Google from fully being able to index the forum right?

A site:lag.one check on Google shows that search engines are being stopped from indexing fully. If you haven't already got yourself on Search Console do it and then you can use the Crawl > Fetch as Google option to get Google indexing your community right away! :)

Possibly one of the best looking gaming forums advertised on this website.

Great job and good luck with the growth of the community.
