I don't normally like Vanilla, but that forum is quite nice, basic, but easy to read.

Where did it say that? Can't find it.

It's almost the first line of code if you inspect the source.

Code:
<body id="vanilla_categories_index" class="Vanilla Categories index  Section-CategoryList  editor-active Guest">

Just to update everyone, Digital Spy are experiencing major problems with Vanilla, loads of bugs, endless complaints from users, jokes about it being a downgrade, it brings back memories of sites converting from vB3 to vB4 in its early days.

Total car crash, they may as well just gone with vB5. :ROFLMAO:

Here's the last list of problems/bugs, DS Support posted about on 29/4/17...

There's load more, a major weird thing is 'nested quotes' going wrong, they are bloody weird even when working right...

Here's an example of when they 'sort of work', click on 'see previous posts':
https://forums.digitalspy.com/discussion/comment/86240046#Comment_86240046

- when there's a lot more previous quotes, it's bonkers, left one wag to come up with this - again click on 'see previous posts':

- funny as feck. :D

I'm not necessarily saying that XF would have been the best fit for them, but it's a shame they seem to have been wooed by a software which doesn't quite fit their needs.

I'm not sure if they ever evaluated XF or some of the other software first or how extensive their internal testing and user acceptance testing was but reading a lot of the feedback there suggests something went wrong somewhere.

It might be too late now but if they are interested in exploring alternatives then we'll be happy to help them.
