Then shouldn't I, as a website owner, qualify as a Coder/Designer?

I've tried developing software in the past. I created a login page (that works) and was starting on a way to add links to it that would alternate on the page(s) you display them on. I stopped though cause it was draining my brain.

Anyway, that's what I thought you meant but the way you said it made it seem like it could be people who "create websites"... not necessarily from scratch. Thanks for clarifying.

Earlier this month we added an "Active Members" usergroup to TAZ. Initially, this meant only that you were bestowed with an "Active Member" banner and a new username markup color. However, I've decided that I would also remove most of the ads on TAZ for Active Users as well.

To become an Active Member, all you need to do is make a certain amount of posts per month (not that many really). This upgrade goes both ways - active members must maintain their activity or else they will slip back to being normal members again.

That makes sense why i lost my active member thing. Thanks for this info The Sandman . Time to do some more posting.

The Sandman, this is an interesting concept I had not considered. I can see the great benefits of doing a setup like this but I can also see it greatly discouraging users at the same time.

So far I'm quite happy with it - I haven't really seen any downside at all.

Did you have to use Brogans add on to extend the promotion criteria? I set up something very similar and had to download his mod to extend the functionality.
