See he's using 960px width on blog though, I'd take it to 980px to cater for the forum width better. Give forum an extra 20px width, while still keeping blog supporting 1024x768px screen res.

Did you use a plug-in to integrate phpBB with your WP blog. or does that theme allow for it? That's @Greg
The plugin is called WP-United its a wordpress to phpbb bridge. So far its working flawlessly.

Been looking at the site and the plug-in is for use with phpBB 3.0.11, not the new phpBB 3.1. Seeing as WordPress 3.9 comes with a responsive HTML5 default theme, and phpBB 3.1 is same using an HTML5 theme. I'll check it out later when updated to support that instead, I wouldn't use phpBB 3.0.11 now.

I guess I should show this since it's running the latest phpBB.

http://basebb.org/index.php It was running PunBB and converted from that to 3.0 then updated it to 3.1 and so on to the latest 3.1.1 version.

Still needs a lot of work to it and such, also running a bit slow with it.
Someone pointed off on the support forum that there zip a big spike in CPU use from apache in 3.1.0 and it did went down after the 3.1.1 but it was still using more than 3.0.

That's due to having several more frameworks loading.

So in other words, should I start with a fresh copy and move my style and extensions over?

From what I gathered he went from 3.0 to 3.1 then updated to 3.1.1 with the update package.

I wish that I can link to the topic about this but I am stuck on my phone.

Edit: if you go to the phpbb support forum, in the 3.1 support area on page 2 you will find a topic called "apache CPU usage up since upgrade"

Thank you. It looks like I'm finally getting my answers from 3.1 support forum.

Need to find a new host.. considering forumatic, since I'm a writer , and find the notion of updating the software intimidating.
I did not build it. And the man who did, has left the project behind.

Phew. The years' fees expire this Sat at midnight..
And the host, "Register.com" won't take a month's worth payment.
Dunno if I can get it done in time.. Have to work Sat..
