I have an idea on a domain, which is based on a topic that is searched alot, the domain consists of all the words that is being searched, but obviously together even apart would it be high in the search engines ?

For example my domain was totallybored if it was broken up like totally bored would it be higher on the search engines because it has all the specific words being wrote into the search engine, obviously it would take a good month or two maybe with adding content daily and SEO work

Google will look at the domain, my domain is thecampingforum.co.uk search google.co.uk with camping forum and notice how all the results for my site and that the words campingforum are all in bold indicating that it has been flagged.

You will still need to take other steps though to improve the ranking. but a good domain is a good start :)

What works good is if you try and match your domain name to a popular keyword for your niche. Example you type in the keyword houses for sale and boom thousands of pages pop up. Now you use that for your domain name and you got yourself tons of traffic.

domain is a good jumpstart to increase your SERP, but most common domains right now are taken so you might be thinking of buying them from the owner.

I think in general that would be the case...but take for example howardsforum that name has NOTHING to do about cellphones but its one of the biggest cellphone forum out there that I have seen, so I would say not really but I am sure it does help to have a name that relates to what you are about.

It is very good if you have one of your keywords in your domain because you`ll rank better however a domain will won`t gain traffic if you don`t promote it. Make link exchanges, advertise on PTC sites, put it in your forum signature, etc. :)

nope..domain doesn't matter in SEO now ..so it won't affect any more
Do you've any proof of this? I think they still do but it is very small.

A good domain is very important and often rushed. Make sure it's not too long and easy to remember.

I agree with what other forum members have said, a good and easy to remember domain name helps traffic.
