Kontera eCPM sucking?

Is anyone else seeing a dip in their eCPM? My eCPM has dropped 75% over the past week - which means, my earnings have gone down. I've tried to contact my account manager about this issue - and he/she hasn't responded to my emails yet.

What gives? All of my site's traffic are going up as are my pageviews.

Well hm. I think the Kontera stats are a bit off anyway. They don't match ANY of my stat programs or other advertisers, and the "ramp up" hasn't happened. It doesn't seem the popups are worth the hassle so far.

I tried it on my blog for about 1.5 - 2 weeks. It slowed down page loads a lot. And at the end of that time, my balance showed that I'd made 20 cents.

How much traffic did you blog get? Who's your account manager?

The blog isn't huge - averages about 240-250 unique visitors a day.

I can't recall who the account manager was - I don't see why that matters. It slowed down page loads and wasn't earning any money.

Your account manager can tweak your ads for you.
I believe all new accounts go through a 3 week period of optimization and such.

So far I am not seeing much benefit as well. I am getting a few clicks a day, but nothing worth the slowdown it causes. The ads are also no very relevant to the site topic, though this has improved somewhat.

Thinking I may pull the plug if there is not much improvement over the next week or so.

I've only really been using Kontera properly for 3 days now, but in those 3 days my eCPM is about the same for each.

I've just removed it from my site after 3 weeks earning less than $7

And that's AFTER I mailed my account manager to try and sort it out

the impressions figures bear no relation to ANY other stats for my site either

$7 in 3 weeks (when Google usually pays around $120 for that timescale) REALLY isn't worth slowing down the pageload time for!

This threads a good read, but the range of impressions from this ad service seem to be across the board. Does getting an manager to "optimize" make the difference then?
