IPS Users By App - When Forums Are Not #1

Never did I ever think that other site features would dominate the forums.... a true testament to the necessity of providing more than just a forum for your users.

I find it interesting also.

I do wonder what "system" represents as an end user though?

I have a really strong suspicion that it is "undefined" and in my case represents "IPS Pages" as my Sites Index, Even tho Pages is represented on the pie chart, it must not see my index as a pages element.

Clubs would be my second guess

I agree, the first 3 could definitely do with their own slice of the pie, or the options to turn them on in the pie. Profiles could be considered quite integral to the core forum/community experience. And of course search is rather integral too, when trying to compare to other systems, or even just to see how important search is to your users. To see if you need to invest in better search solutions or not.

Clubs should have its own slice too.

It's a a great idea having these stats built in, I like it.

Should be core not in an add-on its to important.

The chart represents only the current visitors, so it's probably changing each minute ! Not sure if there would be much value in showing now the exact pages, forums or topics, this would even change each second...

But it would benefit from the searches being saved so you can look what people where looking for.

That changes everything, is there a way to see the same info on a weekly or monthly basis?

sounds like you need to tap into the potential of pages, endless possibilities

*make a portal style index page with blocks and increase seo and guest to member conversion rate by 25% or more

*create a database with niche factoids

*create tools and resources relating to the sites topic

*move your terms and rules to real pages

*make an advertise here page or ask for donations

much much more
