What is OvBBv2?
Distributed under the open source MIT license, OvBBv2 is a continuation of the light-weight original OvBB v1.0 bulletin board system that mimics vBulletin 2.x.x in both look and behavior while incorporating new features and functionality. OvBBv2 is written in PHP and is powered by MySQL.

Some information that maybe you don't know. The reason that the author adopted the OVBB projects was because Jelsoft was ready to issue a law suit against him as interface and functionallity were the same as vB2. To avoid the law suit the project closed. Keep this in mind in case that you'll keep same interface and same functions.

And I think that I was using OVBB 0.16 and not 0.6. I need to check my old files.

I'm will in my legal right to continue this forum script. If Jelsoft wants to sue me because the interface may look similar then I should think PHPBB, Discourse, Microsoft, Apple, Linux, Unix, FreeBSD, MyBB, PunBB, SMF, Yabb, XenForo and some other big names should be able to sue each other and small developers then. Besides we already changed the name and will be giving it a new look when the new version comes out. Thank you for letting me know.

Nobody said that you're doing something illegal. My post was just for information. Actually, around 2006, I had also modified OVBB 0.16 to work as portal with adding Articles, Classifieds etc. I named it vBportallin. But it was for my own use only.

I know I just wanted to let people know.

Sorry but in this case you're wrong. The interface is an exact copy of vB2

I'm remaking the forum so that it doesn't look too familiar so and I can guaranteed it would look like vB2 when i'm done updating it.

If you don't have vB2, I still have it.

That's a big no no. Sorry but paradoxG(r)eek would breaking the EULA if he sends you the file for VB 2.
