And I know a bit about stepping into a different identity. But there's something maliciously sneaky going on there.
I'm a bit shocked to hear of the scamming thing. Truly. I can understand someone wanting to succeed in a hosting business effort as Josh appeared to be doing. But to take advantage of folks' inexperience and gullibility -- purposely intending to scam -- is a bit low to me. It's all unfortunate really.

Taking the truth a bit further ==> There is at least one person posting and pointing fingers in this thread who should shut completely up and have absolutely nothing to say I won't speak any names - but @you-know-who-you-are ==> Hush!

Based on my research... Most of these hosting startups are reseller types, am I correct? I couldn't really ever see myself going with a reseller. No offense to you resellers but all you are really is a middle man. Maybe I am wrong, though? I am not that fluent with the works of running your own web hosting service. It seems like it would be a headache for me. But if I ran my own, I'd want my own datacenters and what not and something tells me that isn't a cheap startup at all...

Everyone resells nowadays, even virtually. Some big hosts don't own physical servers either (except for dedicaced servers, which they may still resell). Owning the metal hardly makes sense nowadays when the price of Amazon's cloud keeps decreasing faster than real servers can retain their margins (especially as activity scales up).

Joshua was definitely a reseller, but he constantly tried to pass his hosting off as not being reseller hosting. He even claimed to have his own data center at one point.

From all the post on all the forums I believe I've taken the biggest hit so far.

I worked and studded collectively for 16 year's with partner companies globally. I had a full 42u rack packed with servers, all ram was filled and brand new hard drives for every server. Roughly 25k not counting the trips overseas and all the other unknowns that are realized along the way, as in the company infrastructure.

Netrality leased him a space therefore, I leased from him, so now all of my equipment and all of the other customers equipment is tied down in litigation.

Since the first day I knew he was ripping me off which is big-time and I started digging and found a whole bunch of other people have been ripped off in the past and they just wrote it off I cannot write mine off I'm going to see him all the way to the jail house I told him that he can make everything right and I would just disappear but he is so young and ignorant he doesn't realize what he's doing is Major wire fraud check fraud Consumer Fraud in general.

I'm one of the few people that could not just write it off I have a full rack with a bunch of software on it bunch of new hardware this guy will smile to your face and take everything you got when I reported him to the Houston Police Department there was already a investigator assigned to the case so therefore I had an investigator and from his previous location he ripped people off there was an investigation going on there therefore they escalated it to the DA's office and the district attorney has their own investigators now all the property at net Netrality is no longer just property it is evidence I have had to be really diligent about this but he is going to jail for many years I will see to that for everybody else.

Very informative indeed but a few questions id ask myself if I were you are; when you say leased space to "him" who are you referring to when you mention him? Usually large facilities do not lease space to individuals but licensed companies therefore the matter would be civil right?

In my opinion you'd be better off getting your own private investigator or attorney to go after your personal belongings that you can prove ownership over.

I didn't explain myself correctly or either you didn't understand my post I have already been down those roads you mentioned it is in the district attorney's office that means they are already actively getting ready to press charges are they feel like they've got enough to bring him down for Consumer Fraud the Houston Police Department has a investigators Division and then the district attorney has investigator division that's a totally separate situation my case is too big to be civil civil in Texas only goes up to $10,000

Netrality, is the name of the organization that least him a so-called space so he could release out to his customers but when you go there it seems like it's one and all as if they're working together but they're not This Is How They shift the liability from their self to him.

And keep in mind I'm not the only case they're working this is Way Beyond civil this is not one case this is hundreds of cases it's too small for the FBI which is good because the FBI will only put him in there for a couple years or maybe even giving probation keeping it at the state level will lock him up between 5 and 15.

Anyway if you want to know more about the company are referred to feel free to give him a call yourself I know what I'm talking about this is become a full-time job for me for months and it looks like it's going to be at least another 4 to 6 months by the time I get my equipment back it will probably be worthless but I will have gratification

And for another reason is that this is just one next step I need to do the next step which I'm not going to say on here to warn them

When you say these companies must be licensed in order to lease a client a rack with Services pertaining to power man with and the racket self how would I find out if this company is licensed or not?

I've had to take this step by step starting from the very beginning because it will wear you out and it is a full-time job chasing this guy down and understanding how all of it works as far as the Datacenter side goes.

It would be a big help to me because the main data center is called n e t r a l i t y and they will not speak to me about the agreement they have with Joshua Prout because they said that would be breaking your lease agreement but then again the district attorney has everything lot down to where nobody can get anything because everything is considered evidence of this point this is not his only location they're doing this for a few of the other locations there's got to be a way legally I can go after the main company Netrality for gross negligence. Due to the fact that they did no background check all they have to do is type his name in Google, they did no due diligence nothing they just let this person off the streets just walk on in there and start taking people's money and servers and then try to run off but I caught him in the act and then that's when I called law enforcement and that's when I started the path of locking everything now then I found out that some of the servers that I bought from him or most likely stolen then I paid a year in advance I've got a lot of money tied up with this con artist he's 25 years old looks a little bit older so that kind of throws you off.

He's been doing this for so long and he's so confident and what he's doing that he has no idea or does not understand the gravity of the situation that he is in he is in a bad situation but I am too I need to get to the bottom of that agreement he has between netrality and himself so if it's not a lease agreement then what is it he had about 10 racks in there when I say there I mean naturality but they will not talk to me about the lease agreement how can I make them talk to me about who is all involved in the agreement and how is it that he can pop from one data center to another Data Center and start all over again without these people doing background checks people have sensitive data only servers especially hipaa-compliant people

If there's anybody out there who can advise me on a good lawyer that will take on this case not against Joshua the first thing but against the big organization neutrality please let me know cuz I am in dire need this would be different if I was in business a year already and got hit for 25 or $30,000 I can play with it on the side and finally get my stuff back in my money but at this point on my servers are aging they're going to be worthless when I get them back and it doesn't matter if the da says you owe this man money he will never pay me or anybody else so if there's anybody out there who can offer me any help at all with a good attorney please let me know.

Especially with all the people in this form and other forms and all over the internet all of us together could group up and I know attorney would take on a class-action

However if you can prove criminal intent that they were working with the person to complete the task then you might have a shot which looking at their closing value last year I highly doubt.

We did go to the building manager I won't say his name and two weeks prior to him trying to run off with everybody's equipment I smelt a rat and went to the building manager I showed him all the postings on the internet I showed all my receipts I showed where I never received any Services I showed Flair he was attempting to charge me $3,000 to unwrap my servers for 142 you rack and I am the one who wrapped the servers to begin with they have a dock in the basement where I could easily back my vehicle up and walk up and unwrap my own servers just like a rack them this is a game he plays it's the same scam with everyone once you get your stuff to him it's in his control he doesn't provide the services that you paid for which was well over $10,000 and you don't get your servers or none of your Hardware back unless you pay for it as if it was Ransom.

Netrality could had stop this and went to the police department and said this man is a criminal and he is doing this to people within our building and not only that they're receiving stolen goods and they're helping him hold stolen goods at their location.

I started off with filing a report it escalated to an investigator once the investigator started he realized there was another investigator in the same office investigating joshuaprout at another location so they got two investigators investigating him then it escalated to the district attorney's office they have their own investigators currently it is at the District Attorney's office and they are going to pick it up and rest him eventually he can't run forever once it reaches there they are being the District Attorney's office it's over for him but I've had to be real persistent it's a full-time job doing this I'm not like everybody else I'm not going to let him walk with this.

So with that said I've got to get him in jail and then I've got to figure out how to get my money back because the servers once it reaches the DA's level becomes evidence and you can't get them back until after the court or after he goes to court.

So what do you recommend my next step be with someone who doesn't have any money left because it was all given to Joshua

If your property is evidence nothing you can do. An investigation could take years with that the release from the District Attorney could be longer. If they're doing an investigation you never know what the other party is providing or how far the case is going litigation is a rough process man.
