What is a VBulletin "active member?"

I admin a XF board and have been asked to compare some statistics with a competitor's board, "Powered by vBulletin® Version 4.2.2", that lists both members and active members.

There is no such concept as active members in XF, but I could search in the ACP based on a certain date and could come up with, I hope, a comparable statistic. Does anyone know what defines "active" for VB?

Thanks very much.

"Active Members" is the same as XenForo's "Members online" widget.

VB's is based off a setting in the VB Admin CP, and it can be changed. I believe the default was 30 days.
So that forum - if they have NOT changed the default - may be showing members active at any time in the last 30 days.

But remember - it can be changed in the Admin CP. They could have it set to 1 day, or 500+ days (to inflate the #). You can't do an accurate comparison unless you figure out the exact setting used on the VB board.
